“Prior to his role as a Keiretsu Ambassador, Richard has supported Connie and Keiretsu in various capacities for more than 15 years. As a serial entrepreneur himself, he understands the value of cooperative investor networks in fueling economic growth. He is currently serving as Founder and CEO of TrueU, a start-up Social Impact Venture providing an internet platform for collecting positive encouraging messaging from friends and family, and delivering it to site Users who are isolated, suffering from depression, or recovering from substance abuse, and other mental health issues and are in need of emotional support to regain self-worth and hope.
Starting his career as a real estate securities lawyer, Richard has been President, CEO, COO, and Principle of 5 corporations in the real estate development-construction-property management, hospitality (9 restaurants), consulting practice, and staffing industries. Richard has worked in start-up, turn-around, and fortune 500 environments establishing enduring corporate cultures of performance, accountability, and profitability.
Richard has authored numerous articles and publications on leadership, accountability, persuasive communication, productivity enhancement, and consultative sales techniques. He has developed more than a dozen workshops and seminars, and currently conducts the MAP signature 2 ½ day Workshop, Map’s advanced communication workshop, the F.I.R.S.T Method® Workshop, Strategic Planning retreats and Leadership programs. His past and present clients include: Critchfield Mechanical, Turner Construction, Donahue-Schriber, Avery-Dennison, Farmerboys®, Kaiser Permanente, as well as more than 100 other local, regional, and national firms.
He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge BA, and the University of Southern California, School of Law, JD. Richard is licensed to practice law in California, he held a General Contractors license for 19 years, he served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Computer Consulting Businesses (NACCB) for 9 years and is currently on the Board of Protech Mats Industries, Inc., Equity Architects, LLC, and several other corporate advisory boards.
