40+ years in healthcare commerce, including sales, management, marketing, education, KOL program development and manufacturing with both major and start-up medical device & pharma companies. This experience spans across several medical devices and pharma product lines for the hospital critical care, CV surgery, and CV anesthesia markets.
Post-corporate retirement experience includes involvement within the angel investment community as investor, entrepreneur, and advisor, with recent experience in successfully shepherding a start-up company’s new technology product through the FDA 510(k) De Novo clearance process.
George has also served as a Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Long Beach City College. This program focused on mentoring new entrepreneurs as they prepared to raise start-up capital through the Innovation-SoCal Fund.
